Master in Commercial Law, Saarland University, Germany Dr. Udo Braendle joined the School of Business Administration at AUD in 2012 having worked in practice and for universities for more than ten years. Dr. Braendle has worked for a management consultancy focusing on the energy sector and in the Austrian banking sector in the area of compliance. Since 2011, he has been a licensed management consultant. Prior to teaching at AUD, he taught in Saudi Arabia, UK (School of Law, University of Manchester) and in Austria. He is still an external lecturer at the University of Vienna, where he teaches a Corporate Governance course every year. His research mainly focuses on corporate governance, regulation and the social and environmental behavior of firms (CSR). In addition, he has published widely on these issues in leading journals, such as the Journal of Management and Governance, the Journal of Interdisciplinary Economics, and the Business Strategy Review. Professor Braendle is a member of the Sonnenfels Center for the Study of Public Law and Economics as well as the Society of International Development (SID).
