Biography

S M Mahhbubul Ameen is an Associate Professor in the Department Geological Sciences at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc., degrees from the same university in 1993, 1994, respectively. He was awarded Ph.D. degree from the Curtin University, Australia, in 2013. His research broadly focuses on geochemistry, petrogenesis, geochronology and evolution of crustal rocks.

Research Intrest

Petrogenesis and crustal evolution of the basement rocks; U-Pb SHRIMP (Sensitive High Resolution Ion MicroProbe) geochronology; Lu-Hf isotopic study;P-T-x study of ores and deformation from fluid inclusions.
