Dr. Malhotra is a graduate of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences which is considered one of India`s most prestigious medical schools. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College-Metropolitan Hospital Center where he also was the Assistant Chief Medical Resident and Delegate of the hospital to the Committee of Interns and Residents. After finishing his Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the North Shore University Hospital he worked as an attending in Iowa where he was also an adjunct clinical faculty at the University of Iowa`s Carver School of medicine.
