Dr. El Guindy joined AUD in Spring 2017 as a full time Assistant Professor of Accounting. His academic experience includes teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses at a wide range of universities including Tanta University (Egypt), Helwan University, American University in Cairo, University of Leeds, and University of Dammam. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds. His research interests include Earnings Management, Auditor Fees, Audit Tenure, Corporate Governance, and IFRS. He presented his research in a number of regional and international conferences. Dr. El Guindy is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA certificate holder) and he has extensive experience teaching CMA courses. He had previously worked as a professional auditor at Deloitte and Touche.
