Biography

VMd. Zahidul Islam is currently a Lecturer, Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received his PhD from Shizuoka University, Japan, in 2015. He received his MS and B.Sc. in Biotechnology degree in 2003 and 2001 from Khulna University, Bangladesh. From 2003 to 2012, he worked in pharmaceutical companies. His research interest is to reveal the mechanism or mode of action of cell penetrating peptides on lipid bilayers by the single GUV method.

Research Intrest

To reveal the mechanism and mode of action of cell-penetrating peptides and antimicrobial peptides on lipid membranes by single GUV method.
