Biography

Academic functions: Lecturer, project management Short Biography: Study of economics and social sciences as well as theology in Berlin. Church social worker, freelance publicist, music pedagogue. Doctorate 1984 in Berlin. Research associate at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin (1978 to 1982) at the Freie Universität Berlin (1983) and at the University of Münster (1984 to 1991). Office for Industrial and Social Work of the Protestant Church in Westphalia, Villigst (1991-92). Since 1978 lectures at the Universities of Münster and Hanover, the FU Berlin, the LMU Munich and the Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft in Berlin. From 1992-2009 Social Science Institute of the Evangelical Church in Germany (SI), Bochum / Hannover.

Research Intrest

Social science time research, among others work, family, leisure, time institutions (Sunday), environment, time modes (present / past / future), time theory, age and care.
