Biography

Dr. Joseph Onyango Gweyi is currently working as a Senior Lecturer and Director of the Department in Kenyatta University 

Research Intrest

Plant Nutritionist-Horticulturalist with a strong focus on plant abiotic stresses (e.g. limiting nutrients, extreme soil pH and toxic mineral elements) and their effects on yield and food security. The other interest include; effects of limiting soil water status on the severity of nutrient stresses on crops, with special reference on non-nutritive fertigation to horticultural crops and wastewater re-use in Urban and Peri-Urban centres.
