Biography

Ophthalmologist specialising in oculoplastics at the Ocular Microsurgery Institute since 2014. She specialises in the medical and surgical treatment of eyelid and orbit diseases and malpositions: surgery of orbital tumours, orbital reconstruction in thyroid orbitopathy,aesthetic look (eyelids, eyebrows and periocular region). Master’s Course in Ophthalmic and Orbital Plastic Surgery run by the IMO and the Faculty of Medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2002-2003). She has been a Collaborating Professor at the Surgery, Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology Department since 2009 on the “Ophthalmology” subject being taught at the University Hospital of the Canary Islands. She took the Doctorate Course under the “Radiology and Physical Medicine” programme at the University of La Laguna (1994-1996), where she also received the Research Proficiency for the Doctoral Thesis Project Blue-blue and blue-yellow perimetry in normal patients and with initial glaucoma.
