Enrique Sánchez holds a PhD in Physical Sciences from the Universidad Complutense in 2002. His PhD thesis is related to high resolution numerical modeling (LES) Of atmospheric boundary layer clouds, where the interaction between turbulence and Phase change processes play a key role. Between 1996 and 2002 he participated in Several European reference projects in the numerical modeling of these processes Atmospheric conditions. In 2002 he joined the modeling group for the environment and Climate (MOMAC) of the UCLM, where it develops its investigation since then. In this Terrain has carried out numerical simulations with the regional climate model PROMES, as well as developments of various parameterizations thereof, in particular in Relation to its turbulence scheme. Within the MOMAC group with the PROMES model Has participated in the intercomparison exercises between regional models of climate and The most important regional climate change studies of recent years at the (PRUDENCE projects (2002-2004) and ENSEMBLES projects (2004-2009)), and also On Africa (AMMA (2005-2009)) or South America (CLARIS-LPB (2008-2012)). He has Participated in numerous publications and international congresses on the Regional climate change projections related to these simulations Numbers. It also collaborates in the application of these climate Models of impact in different areas, such as agriculture. Since 2009 it belongs to National Committee CLIVAR. Has participated in over 70 congress contributions Since 1997, and has participated in 7 European One of the working groups in the CLARIS-LPB project (2008-2012).
