Cindy Kratzke, PhD, CHES, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences. She brings over 15 years of leadership experience in healthcare management and healthcare education. Her research areas are cancer prevention and control including minority community health workers and mammography use, mobile technology use, and mother-daughter communication. She has presented her research at nearly 50 conferences including international and national cancer conferences. She has published numerous articles in leading peer-reviewed journals including Journal of Community Health and Journal of Cancer Education. She is appointed by New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez to the statewide Community Health Workers Advisory Council. She is on the Board of Directors of Cancer Patient Education Network (CPEN), a national organization to reduce the burden of cancer through education. Dr. Kratzke received her Ph.D. in Health Services Research. PhD: Health Services Research, Old Dominion University, 2005.
