Theology and Pedagogy in Münster; 1976 First state exams for Lehramt at Gymnasium (sec. II / I); 1976-1980 research assistant at the New Testament seminar; 1986-1989 research assistant; 1989 Ph.D., then assistant professor; 2000 Habilitation; 2002-2007 Representation of the chair for the New Testament at the Institute for Protestant Theology and its Didactics Münster; 2008 Appointment as a professor; From 2008 freelance activity: Coaching and proofreading in the humanities.

Research Intrest

Pauline Letters and Theology, Methodical and hermeneutical questions of the New Testament, especially: textual analysis and exegesis, text analysis under a pragmatic aspect, exegesis in different functional contexts, research history of the New Testament, cf. the work of Ernst Käsemann
