Biography

 Ali Ahmadi was born in 1980 at Sahneh, Kermanshah, Iran. He graduated in Mining Engineering from Shahid Bahonar University in 2004 and obtained his M.Sc. in Mineral Processing (surface chemistry of froth flotation) from the same university in 2006. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mineral Processing (Hydrometallurgy) at Shahid Bahonar University in 2010. During Feb. 2010 and Sept. 2010 he has been visiting at the Department of Chemical Engineering (CeBER Group) at Cape Town University. He is specialized in hydrometallurgical processes and has established at IUT a research group for mineral bioprocessing and a (Bio)-hydrometallurgy laboratory in 2011. Currently he is an assistant professor of the Department of Mining Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology (IUT). He is a member of editorial board of International Journal of Nonferrous Metallurgy.
