Dr Douw Boshoff [BSc Construction Management, MSc Real Estate, PhD (Real Estate), UP] is a senior lecturer in Real Estate and specialises in property valuation methodology, property economics, development studies, property investment and value and portfolio management.  He often performs contract research for various institutions. He started his career as a construction project manager for various companies and then joined RMB in its Valuation Division.  Boshoff is a registered professional valuer and certified project manager (PMI USA), and has also completed the Programme in Business Leadership (Unisa). He joined UP in 2009. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed academic journals and conference proceedings.
