Biography

Dr. Giberson did her PhD from University of Manitoba and served as a Professor in University of Prince Edward Island.

Research Intrest

Research projects have included studies of Canadian lady beetles and PEI bumblebees and dragonflies, as well as field studies in the Canadian Arctic and throughout the Maritimes. Dr. Donna Giberson is a freshwater ecologist who works in the Maritimes and Canadian Arctic. She conducts research on the life history, diversity, and habitat patterns of aquatic insects; the effects of natural and human-caused disturbance on streams; and works with local community groups on stream projects.
