Dmitry V. Ivanov has completed his PhD at the age of 26 years from Yaroslavl Medical State Academy, MD at the age of 36 years from Federal Service on Surveillance in Healthcare and Social Development and postdoctoral studies from Russian Medical Academy Postgraduate Training. He is head of clinical trials department at SPP PHARMACLON LTD, Moscow, Russia. He has published more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals. His early main research interest was on the human biotops microflora. In 2003, he was appointed senior researcher at the National Research Center of Antibiotics, Russia and began to investigate nosocomial bacterial infections. Dmitry V.
