PhD in Social and Administrative Pharmacy - University of Minnesota (2003), under the guidance of Emeritus Professor Linda Strand, PhD in Biological Sciences (Physiology) at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1994), and Pharmacist at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1990) ). Djenane has been a professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais since 1995 and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Minnesota since 2008. From March 2008 to June 2012 she was the Manager of the Pharmaceutical Care Department of Medication Therapy Management at Fairview Health Services , one of the largest health systems in the state of Minnesota. Since July 2012 Djenane is a research associate at Fairview Health Services. Djenane Ramalho de Oliveira is educator and researcher, with emphasis in Pharmaceutical Attention, Integral Management of Therapy Medications (GTM), subjective experience with the use of medicines, and qualitative research in health. In 2013, the teacher created the Center for Studies in Pharmaceutical Care (CEAF) of the Faculty of Pharmacy of UFMG. The mission of CEAF is to support the implementation of GTM services in various scenarios in the State of Minas Gerais and throughout Latin America. In addition, the Center prepares students and professionals for the provision of GTM services, as well as conduct research with the objective of evaluating and advancing these services in health systems. The teacher Djenane received two commendations for services rendered in the Pharmacy profession, one in 2005 by the Mauricio de Nassau Faculties in Pernambuco and another in 2015 by the Regional Council of Pharmacy of Minas Gerais. In March of 2016, Djenane and other international researchers founded the International Pharmaceutical Care Consortium, whose goal is to implant universal clinical services based on the professional practice "Pharmaceutical Care". She is currently the coordinator of the Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Postgraduate Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, where she teaches masters, doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows.
