Biography

Dr. Adamczyk has been the director of Residency Programs at the SUNY Optometry since 1999, where she is also a professor. She began her career in 1986 as a low vision consultant and as an assistant clinical professor at the College. Dr. Adamczyk is also a visiting faculty member at the New England College of Optometry in Boston. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1985 and completed a residency at the Newington VA Hospital in Newington, CT. Dr. Adamczyk regularly lectures internationally on ocular pharmacology, glaucoma, infectious disease control and prevention in optometric practice, headaches, and on professional development related topics.
