Biography

Dr. DENISE MARIA TROMBERT DE OLIVEIRA holds a BA in Biology from the Federal University of Viçosa (1986), Full Degree in Biology from the Federal University of Viçosa (1987), master's (1991) and doctorate (1997) in Biological Sciences (Plant Biology) Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) Campus of Rio Claro. He worked as a lecturer at the Department of Botany of the Institute of Biosciences of UNESP, Câmpus de Botucatu (1991-2006). He is Professor of the Department of Botany Institute of Biological Sciences, Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG, Belo Horizonte, MG), an institution in which it operates since September / 2006. He is a lecturer at the permanent nucleus of the Post-Graduate Program in Plant Biology at UFMG, which he coordinated between 12/2008 and 12/2012; until February / 2016, concluded the orientation of 15 master's dissertations (one co-orientation) and 12 doctoral theses (two coorientations), as well as numerous guidelines for scientific initiation. She has worked as a consultant for several periodicals and development agencies, with special emphasis on her participation in CAPES as a consultant (2010-2014) and as Assistant Coordinator of the Biodiversity Area (2014-2016). She is currently Pro-Rector of Post-Graduation at UFMG.
