Dr. DENISE MARIA TROMBERT DE OLIVEIRA holds a BA in Biology from the Federal University of Viçosa (1986), Full Degree in Biology from the Federal University of Viçosa (1987), master's (1991) and doctorate (1997) in Biological Sciences (Plant Biology) Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) Campus of Rio Claro. He worked as a lecturer at the Department of Botany of the Institute of Biosciences of UNESP, Câmpus de Botucatu (1991-2006). He is Professor of the Department of Botany Institute of Biological Sciences, Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG, Belo Horizonte, MG), an institution in which it operates since September / 2006.
