Biography

She has a degree in Veterinary Medicine (USP-1985), a Master's and PhD in Experimental and Comparative Pathology (USP-1988 and 1995) and a postdoctoral degree in Immunology (University of Calgary-Canada - 2001). She is a consultant to CNPq, CAPES and several international scientific journals. She has been an Advisor to the International Relations Board of UFMG, a member of the Graduate and Postgraduate Chamber of the UFMG Teaching, Research and Extension Council, Head of Department, Coordinating Coordinator of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She currently teaches in medicine and nutrition and postgraduate studies (cell biology, nutrition and health) and is a postdoctoral adviser (Cellular Biology / UFMG and Nutrition and Health / UFMG). Has experience in the biomedical area.
