His research interests include the molecular pathogenesis of acute promyelocytic leukaemia, identification of prognostic factors in acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), characterising mechanisms underlying leukaemia-associated chromosomal translocations and evaluation of minimal residual disease (MRD) detection using quantitative PCR to direct treatment approach.
