Biography

Dr. Wang has been an integral part of the Basic and Clinical Translational Research at Georgetown. She has supported her research through multiple grants.

Research Intrest

 Her fields of interest includes microvascular physiology: reactivity, endothelial function and remodeling of resistance vessels in hypertension, chronic renal disease and HIV. Her most recent major research projects include: a) Mechanisms of endothelial dysfunction of resistance vessels in patients with HIV/AIDS and chronic renal disease; b). Mechanisms of oxidative stress on afferent arteriole and systemic resistance vessels; c). Translational vascular research program.
