Biography

She was born in Albacete in 1969. She holds a degree in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Valencia (1992) and PhD in Biology from the University of Valencia (1996). He held his postdoctoral stay (1997-2001) in the laboratory of Prof. Thomas Boller at the Friedrich Miescher Institut (Basel, Switzerland) working on the immune system of plants. Contracted Ramón y Cajal at the University of Castilla-La Mancha in 2003. She is currently a full professor since 2010 at this university. It develops its research tasks in the secondary metabolism of plants and in the characterization of bioactive compounds of vegetal origin in the Botanical Institute of the UCLM.
