Biography

Dr. Hart has taught at D'Youville since September of 1977. His primary teaching duties are in Anatomy & Physiology, Introductory Biology, and Gross Human Anatomy. Dr. Hart designed the college's Human Anatomy lab as well as the department's original courses in human anatomy. Because of his skills in dissection he consults as a tissue recovery technician with Upstate NY Transplant Services, a local nonprofit organization which recovers and distributes anatomical gifts for transplantation and medical research. Dr. Hart has served as chair of the Department of Math and Natural Sciences. He also works as a fund raiser or Autistic Services of WNY and participates in "Lending a Hand", a program assisting New Orleans in its rebuilding process. He is interested in sports, camping, theater, the Philharmonic and in his family.

Research Intrest

Current developments in cell biology and in the development of teaching techniques, lab exercises and other educational technologies to be used in conjunction with courses in anatomy, physiology, and introductory biology.
