Biography

Professor Hamilton joined Bradley University Department of Nursing Faculty as part-time clinical instructor in Obstetrics in 2012. She later added Medical-Surgical clinical instruction and Health Assessment theory. In August 2016, she joined the faculty as a full-time Assistant Professor of Nursing. She is a native to Central Illinois and a proud mother of eight children including two sets of twins. Professor Hamilton earned her Master certificate in Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in 2015-2016 from Villanova University. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Nursing at Mennonite College of Nursing, Illinois State University with a research interest in quality nursing care. She is PALS, NRP, BLS, & ACLS certified and holds professional registered nursing licensure in Illinois & Missouri.

Research Intrest

patient safety, neonatology including travel nursing, obstetrics, pediatrics, case management, infection control, and crisis nursing.
