Collen-Issia Uahengo is currently working as Staff Development Fellow in the department of Geology at University of Namibia. I have quite an extensive practical experience in the exploration of different mineral commodities, mining and production especially in copper, all in Namibia and I am still a huge fan of Mining and Mineral exploration industries, despite the current status quo. My expertise and research interest dwells in the Basin analysis application to hydrocarbons exploration. I also have developed a strong interest in the application of geostatistical tools to hydrocarbons and mineral exploration, most recently in Paleontology and Stratigraphy (Sequence).
