Biography

He has a bachelor's degree in Biology (Full Degree) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (1987), a master's degree (1992) and a Ph.D. (1996) in Biochemistry and Immunology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Post-Doctorate in Immunology at the René Rachou / FIOCRUZ Research Center (1997) and in Developmental Biology by the Gulbenkian Institute of Science (2001, Oeiras-Portugal). She is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais and participates in the permanent staff of the Postgraduate Program in Morphofunctional Sciences of the Federal University of São João Del-Rei. He has experience in Immunology and Developmental Biology, working mainly in the following subjects: immunological tolerance, regeneration and healing.
