Biography

Christy Hancock, M.S., joined the Department of Exercise and Sport Science faculty in August 2011. In addition to teaching, she serves as the clinical education coordinator for the Master of Science in Athletic Training program. Prior to coming to APU, she taught and worked clinically as a certified athletic trainer for four years at a college in Kansas. She was granted admission to the Doctor of Athletic Training program at the University of Idaho starting June 2014. Some of her research interests are injury prevention and manual therapy, and her hobbies include running half and full marathons, swimming, and playing sand volleyball.
