Biography

Christos Marouchos is a lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. He studied initially at the HTI and continued his graduate studies at Middlesex Polytechnic, UK. At Brunel University (UK) he acquired an MSc and a PhD in Power Electronics. He worked for BICC Research and Engineering (London UK) for six years for the introduction of microprocessors in power electronics systems and mathematical modeling of power devices. He taught at the Higher Technical Institute for fifteen years and at the same time he was Coordinator of the evening preparatory courses for the Engineering Council Examinations (UK). He taught analogue electronics, digital electronics, power electronics force and control systems. His author's work covers the area of analogue and power electronics.

Research Intrest

His research interests are in the area of renewable energy and power electronics circuits.
