Biography

Giuseppe Santoro, MD, specialization in Medicine of Sport, is Associate Professor of Human Anatomy at the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Morphological and Functional Images, University of Messina. He has authored several original edited scientific contributions, partly published in international journals, partly communicated in various conference venues. He is serving as reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals. He has spent study periods at the: Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Medical College of Georgia (Augusta, Georgia, U.S.A.), Laboratory of Neuroscience, National Institute of Health (Bethesda, Maryland, U.S.A.), Center for the Study of Pharmacology of Cellular Infrastructures, Department of Pharmacology, Chemotherapy and Medical Toxicology (University of Milan, Italy), Institute of Medicine of Sport (Turin, Italy). He is Member of the Italian Society of Anatomy and Histology, Member of the Italian Society of Histochemistry, Member of the College of Human Anatomy Professors.
