Biography

I received the B.S. degree in information management from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, in 1997, and the M.S. degree in computer science from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, under the supervision of Prof. Ming Ouhyoung, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, under the supervision of Prof. Shi-Nine Yang, in 2004. In 2003 and 2008, I received the good paper awards of the Image Processing and Pattern Recognition (IPPR) Society of Taiwan. In 2009, I received the excellent paper award of National Computer Symposium (NCS). From 2005 to 2009, I worked in Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, under the supervision of Dr. Lee-Feng Chien and Dr. Hsin-Min Wang. The major work is academic research and Taiwan e-Learning and Digital Archives Program. In 2009, I was recruited by Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Chiayi University. My research interests include information retrieval, deep learning, multimedia content analysis, and human computer interaction.
