Biography

Chen Wei, graduated from Xiamen University in 1993, received a master's degree in medical genetics from the West China Medical College in Sichuan University in 2002. From 2002 to 2006, the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Berlin, Germany, under the tutelage of the world famous human medical genetics Professor H. H. Gilger Ropers, Ph.D., was awarded a doctoral degree at the end of 2006 and was hired as a team leader of the Max Planck Young Scientist Group. In 2009, he was appointed to the Faculty of Medical Systems Biology, Marcos Delbrücker, Director of the Center, responsible for the construction of one of the largest genomic centers in Germany and Europe at that time, 2012-2015 as the main planners involved in the German Ministry of Education and Research to support the German largest transformation of the Medical Center of the establishment of the Berlin Institute of Health. In 2015 through the global recruitment to become the German Marcos Delbrück Molecular Medicine Center and the Berlin Charlotte School of Medicine Lifetime Professor (w3), 2016 selected in the second group of the twelfth batch of thousands of people plan (innovative talent). Research Intrest

Mainly engaged in systems biology and genomics research, research areas include system biology based on gene regulation research, non-coding RNA identification and functional research, human disease genetic research, cancer genomics research and other aspects.
