Dr. Y.C. Chan is an Associate Professor of Economics at the School of Accounting and Finance. He obtained his bachelor and master degrees in economics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and PhD degree in finance from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Dr. Chan has an extensive experience in university teaching. He has taught subjects in the areas of economics and finance at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has also served as the external examiner for several local tertiary institutions and reviewer for several leading economics textbooks.
