Research Intrest

My laboratory is interested in studying how human viruses get into cells of the innate immune system. We are currently focusing on molecules that are up-regulated during innate immune cell maturation and whether these molecules are involved in viral binding and entry into these cells. We are also interested in studying how human viruses manipulate cells of the innate immune system to promote efficient viral replication and spread.
