Cassiano Felippe Gonçalves de Albuquerque Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal Fluminense University (2004), master's degree in Biology (Nuclear Biosciences) from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2005) and PhD in Biology (Nuclear Biosciences) from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2009) . Post Doctoral Junior (2009-2011) and Visiting Researcher (2012-2015) of FIOCRUZ in the Laboratory of Immunopharmacology. He did postdoctoral studies in Germany in Munich at the LMU in 2013. He was post doctoral junior of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation at the Laboratory of Immunopharmacology. He was a substitute professor of the discipline of Histology of the ICB at UFRJ from 2016 until February 2017. Currently he is Adjunct Professor of Biochemistry at UNIRIO. He is a reviewer of Scientific Reports, PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases, BMC Microbiology, Plos One, PPAR Research, Journal of Inflammation (London), Medical Science Monitor. He is currently a permanent faculty member of the UNIRIO Graduate Program in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Acting as Academic Editor of Medicine Magazine. Areas of practice: pathophysiology of inflammatory and infectious diseases.
