Biography

Carmen Eugenia Rodríguez Ortíz holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia), a master's degree and a doctorate in plant physiology from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). Associate Professor in the Department of Botany and Ecology of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT). Professor of Plant Physiology for graduation. Accredited in the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Physics and in the Program of Postgraduate Program in Ecology and Conservation of Biodiversity of UFMT. Member of the research groups in Plant Ecophysiology and Environmental Physics, working mainly in the areas: ecophysiology, plant propagation and Atmosphere Biosphere interactions. Researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Wetlands (INAU). Currently local Coordinator of the Professional Master's Degree in Teaching of Biology in PROFBIO National Network.
