Biography

Ben van Rensburg started his career with consulting civil engineers designing building and industrial structures. He obtained BSc and MSc degrees in civil engineering from the University of Pretoria, an MSc (Structural Engineering) from the University of Southampton and a PhD (Civil Engineering) from the University of Pretoria. He then worked with a building research organization before joining the University of Pretoria.

Current Research interests is Structural steel: Stability and non-linear behaviour of members and frames
