Biography

Boya Quichocho, a native of Port Orchard, Washington, enters his 12th year as an assistant coach at the University of Jamestown. As Tom Hager's top assistant, Quichocho is responsible for assisting in all areas of the game, and he is also the head trainer of the UJ Speed Enhancement Program. After playing two years at a Junior College in Washington, Boya transferred to the University of Jamestown in the fall of 2004. As a Jimmie, he was named to multiple DAC All-Conference and All-Region teams, as well as an Honorable Mention All-American in his 2 year career as a Jimmie. He also led the team in stolen bases in 2005 (31) and 2006 (25). Boya received his bachelor's degree from Jamestown College in Health & Fitness Administration with an emphasis in coaching. He and his wife, Lindsey, reside in Jamestown and have a 5-year-old daughter, Nola.
