Biography

Dr.bipul biswas focuses  on Employing plant biotechnology/tissue culture, genetic engineering molecular markers, agronomic trial, and breeding techniques to improve plant's yield, disease tolerant, cold, drought and water resistant using plants germplasm. His honours and awards includes Postdoctoral Fellowship (USDA funded projects),Awarded USDA grants over $2 million as Co-Project director, since 2004-present,Awarded "Faculty New Researcher of the Year" Award, in 2008,Invited Speaker Award for 'In Vitro Biology Annual Conference' San Francisco, CA, in 2004.

Research Intrest

Investigating plant products/phytochemicals for selecting high yielding plant through TLC, and HPLC. Using phytochemicals to control plant's health problems like nematodes, microbes and insect-pests.
