Biography

Prof. Benlier completed her primary and secondary education in Mersin before graduating from Çukurova University Medical School in 1996. She then worked at Keskin Health Center in Kırıkkale from 1997-1998, at Göle Health Center in Ardahan from 1998 to 2000, at Göle State Hospital in Ardahan from 2000 to 2002, at Güvenevler Health Center in Gaziantep from 2003 to 2004, and at the Gaziantep Emergency Services Department from 2004 to 2005. From 2005 to 2010 she completed her specialty training in clinical pharmacology at Gaziantep University and then did 2 years of compulsory service in the same department. Prof. Benlier has concentrated her studies on pharmacogenetics and its clinical significance and has published a number of papers on this subject nationally and internationally. In February 2014 she became a founding lecturer in clinical pharmacology at SANKO University. Prof. Benlier, who is married with 3 children, has been a member of the Turkish Pharmacological Society since 2005.
