Biography

Barry Berger is Professor of Regulatory Affairs at Temple University. Professor Berger has over 30 years of experience with multinational and start-up companies in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Professor Berger served in senior positions with GlaxoSmithKline, Aventis(RPR), Praxis Biologics, Bausch & Lomb and Schering-Plough in areas involving regulatory law ( FDA regulated products and environmental law), mergers and licensing, management of complex litigation, employment law, training, development and corporate compliance. He earned a JD degree from Temple University Law School, an MBA in Management from the Rutgers University Graduate School of Management and a BA from the City College of New York. Professor Berger was an adjunct instructor for ten years before receiving an appointment to the fulltime faculty of the Temple University School of Pharmacy.

Research Intrest

Primary interest is in business, regulatory and legal issues impacting pharmaceuticals, biologics and medical devices on a global basis.
