Biography

Dr. Barbarín Arreguín Lozano is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Biomacromolecules in National Autonomous University of Mexico, Mexico. He was a Full-time Researcher. UNAM. Institute of Chemistry, with a Rockefeller Foundation grant, July 1954 to January 1955, Biochemist. Syntex Laboratories, México. January 1952 to June 1954, Research Fellow. California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Biology Division 1947-1950. Ph.D. California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Biology Division. 1943-1946.

Research Intrest

Dr. Barbarín Arreguín Lozano focused on Experiments on sucrose formation by potato tubers influenced by temperature, Biochemistry of rubber formation in Guayule. I. Rubber formation in seedlings, Studies of methylglyoxal and glyoxalase, Trimethylsilyl sugars at various temperatures.
