Biography

Dr. Bao-Ming Chen pursued his bachelor’s in Agrochemistry Department of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, Jilin Agricultural University, Changchun, China from 1990-1994. His study was mainly on nitrate-N concentration in vegetables. Later he carried out his Master degree in Plant Nutrition in College of Resources and Environment Science, Northwest Science-Technology University of Agriculture and Forestry, Yangling, China. He then carried out his PhD degree in Ecology State Key Laboratory of Arid Agroecology, Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, China. He then pursued his Postdoctoral Fellow in State Key Laboratory of Biocontrol, School of Life Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China. After which he eas appointed as Assistant Researcher: State Key Laboratory of Biocontrol, School of Life Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University and he worked from 2005-2008. He was then promoted as Lecturer in State Key Laboratory of Biocontrol, School of Life Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University. Later he became Associate Professor in School of Life Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University. His research work mainly focuses on nutrient cycling changes due to non-native plant invasion
