Dr. Bernstein is an Associate Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the Departments of Ophthalmology and Pharmacology and Systems Therapeutics. She is a full-time researcher working on promoting regenerative healing after wounding in the cornea and other tissues. She is also working to reverse the pathology associated with Exfoliaton Glaucoma in order to prevent glaucoma-induced blindness.
