Biography

Asya V. Darbinyan is Lecturer | Chair of the History of Armenia's Neighboring Countries Education 2004 – 2008: Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Armenology (BA) 2008 – at present: Yerevan State University, Faculty of Armenian Philology, Department of Modern Armenian Language and Translations (MA – graduating in May 2010) Work Experience January 2010 – at present: translations from Georgian into Armenian and vice versa for «Masys information systems», mainly on banking, lawns est. March 2009 – July 2009: lecturer of Georgian language in the Faculty of Armenian Philology of YSU September 2008: translator/interpreter from Georgian into Armenian and vice versa for the foreign ministers of Armenia and Georgia during a conference meeting in Tbilisi Different translations for the Georgian ministry of Economy, for several translation offices April 2007: translation of “Alpiakan manushak” by Aksel Bakunts from Armenian into Georgian, it was published in a local journal
