Dr. Ashok D. Hanjagi is a Professor in the Department of Geography, Bangalore University, Bangalore. He Served 19 years as Lecturer, Readers and Associate Professor in the field of Geography and also actively involved in Community services in connection with planning and monitoring of lakes, city environments, mapping of towns and villages using spatial technologies. Lake Development Authority, Town Planning Development, Karnataka State Remote Sensing Application Centre are the Examples. He Worked as member of various committees, BOE Chairman and Chief Custodian, NET Observer, etc. As a Director & Coordinator organized seven workshops and trainings to spread spatial technologies among teachers & researchers in India. Delivered around 65 special/invited lecturers for students, research scholars and teachers in India.
