Asad Yousuf is a professor of engineering technology at Savannah State University. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Georgia. Asad received his BS degree in Electrical engineering from the N.E.D University, M.S in Electrical and Computer Engineering University of Cincinnati and a doctorate in Technology Education from the University of Georgia. Asad Yousuf worked on several industrial projects for the last 14 years. He received a contract from Universal Energy systems to work on an expert system project for the United State Air Force. He has worked on research projects at the Oak Ridge National Engineering Laboratories, conducted research in area of AI modeling at NASA, and conducted research in systems engineering at Idaho National Engineering Laboratories. At Lockheed Martin, Asad was involved in the development and testing of the INEL Interim Waste Tracking System. His most recent project was at the Naval Air Warfare Center. The major objective of his research was the design/development of the automated end-to-end functional Radar Simulation package. He has also worked in the area of instrumentation for five summers at the Robert Becker Laboratory.

Develop activities/modules which encourage the students to engage in Digital Systems and Embedded system design, with the ultimate goal of becoming active learners.
