Biography

Arif Mustafa obtained his BSc (Agriculture, Animal Production, ) and his MSc (Aimal Production, 1988) from the University of Khartoum, Sudan. He obtained his PhD (Ruminant Nutrition, 1996) from the University of University of Saskatchewan. Before joining the Animal Science Department, Professor Mustafa was a Research Associate at the University of Saskatchewan.

Research Intrest

Dairy cattle nutrition. Ruminant carbohydrate and protein metabolism. Nutritional evaluation of new forages for dairy cows. Optimizing the feeding value of agricultural by-products for ruminant and monogastric animals.
