Archana Pan obtained Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. She currently holds as an associate Professor in Department of Bioinformatics, School of Life Sciences at Pondicherry University. Her research of interest includes Comparative Genomics, Molecular Evolution and Drug Design. She has UGC-Major Research Project entitled ‘Searching for potential therapeutic targets in food and waterborne pathogens using comparative genomics approach’, 2011-2014.
