Biography

Antonio de Oliveira holds a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG-2002), a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same university (2005), a PhD from the University of Freiburg / Germany (2009) and a postdoctoral degree from the UFMG Nucleus of Neurosciences (2010). He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Pharmacology at UFMG. It acts mainly on the following topics: neuroinflammation, neurodegeneration, neurodevelopment, intracellular signaling pathways, role of microglia activation in neuropathological conditions.

Research Intrest

Evaluation of the effects of immunosuppressants in an animal model of Alzheimer's Disease,  Neurofarmacologia.
