Has been in the Department since 1982, and is based at Fort Napier Hospital in Pietermaritzburg. In addition to his clinical work, he undertakes research, publishes in international journals, and mentors academic staff. His main areas of interest include mental health problems in women and children, forensic mental health and the training of Clinical Psychologists. He recently received an award for being one of the University’s top researchers in 2008.
